Preparation

- Trim the roots and dark green tops from the spring onions.
- Toss the spring onions in a mixing bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread them out on a baking sheet.
Cooking
- Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
- Let them rest for a minute off the heat before serving.
