Description

Easy and delicious air-fried mushrooms that are crispy on the edges and tender inside, perfect as a side dish or snack.

Ingredients

Mushrooms and Seasoning

  • 16 oz Button or cremini mushrooms, whole (Use whole mushrooms for best texture.)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs, dried
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika (Can substitute with a pinch of cayenne for heat.)
  • Salt to taste Salt and black pepper (Add just before cooking.)
  • 1.5 tbsp Olive oil (Toss mushrooms in olive oil for crispness.)

Garnish

  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (For garnish after cooking.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian herbs, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Cooking

  1. Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
  3. Once done, remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve in a small bowl for easy sharing. Pairs well with roasted chicken, steaks, or over pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer for best results.
