Easy and delicious air-fried mushrooms that are crispy on the edges and tender inside, perfect as a side dish or snack.
Ingredients
Mushrooms and Seasoning
- 16 oz Button or cremini mushrooms, whole (Use whole mushrooms for best texture.)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian herbs, dried
- 0.5 tsp Onion powder
- 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika (Can substitute with a pinch of cayenne for heat.)
- Salt to taste Salt and black pepper (Add just before cooking.)
- 1.5 tbsp Olive oil (Toss mushrooms in olive oil for crispness.)
Garnish
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (For garnish after cooking.)
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian herbs, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
- Once done, remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve in a small bowl for easy sharing. Pairs well with roasted chicken, steaks, or over pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer for best results.
