Description

A creamy and spicy dip that’s perfect for any gathering, easy to prepare, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese (Softened for easier mixing)
  • 1 cup sour cream (Can substitute with Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Pre-shredded cheese is acceptable)
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions (Can add more for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (Use more for added spice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (Add more for a smokier flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers for serving (Choose sturdy crackers)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth and well blended.
  2. Stir in the diced green onions, jalapeños, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve with your favorite crackers.

Notes

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for about 3 days. Freezing is possible but not ideal; thaw overnight in the fridge before serving. Warm cream cheese for easier mixing.
