Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (Adjust based on spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Creamy Avocado Lime Sauce

  • 1 piece ripe avocado (Mash for sauce)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (Can substitute with sour cream)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (Freshly squeezed for best flavor)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (Optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly on both sides.
  3. Place salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  1. Bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mash the avocado and mix with Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Serving

  1. Once the salmon is done, serve it topped with the creamy avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For extra comfort, serve with rice or a green salad. If desired, you can add lime wedges on the side. Keep the sauce chilled if made ahead of time.
