Description

A quick and easy dessert made from pineapple chunks that caramelize beautifully in the air fryer, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without the hassle of baking.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium Pineapple, cut into chunks (Fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 1 spray Oil spray (Optional, helps browning and prevents sticking)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon (Optional but recommended)
  • 1-2 teaspoons Brown sugar or coconut sugar (Optional for extra caramel vibes)
  • a pinch Salt (Enhances sweetness)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Drain and dry pineapple chunks well.
  2. Toss the pineapple with a tiny pinch of salt.
  3. Add cinnamon and brown sugar if desired.
  4. Place the pineapple in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  1. Air fry at 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 200°C) for about 8 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket once halfway through.
  2. Check for golden edges and a sweet smell to know when it’s done.

Notes

For added sweetness without refined sugar, consider using honey or maple syrup after cooking. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, yogurt, or over pancakes.
