  • 1 sprig fresh Rosemary (For garnish)
  • 1 large Egg (Beaten, for brushing the pastry)
  • 1/3 cup Cranberry sauce (Can use homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup toasted Pecans (Toast them lightly for best flavor)
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry (Thawed if frozen)
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese (Rind can be trimmed if desired)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie cheese in the center of the pastry.
  4. Top with cranberry sauce and toasted pecans.
  5. Fold the pastry over the cheese, sealing it well and creating a package.
  6. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Baking

  1. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  2. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh rosemary, and serve warm.
