Ingredients

For the Fruit Salsa

  • 2 cups Strawberries, diced small
  • 1 cup Kiwi, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Mango or pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup Apples, diced (Use crisp varieties)
  • 1 cup Grapes or blueberries, chopped if large
  • 1 tablespoon Lime or lemon juice (Add more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or maple syrup (Optional, adjust based on fruit sweetness)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh mint, chopped (Optional)

For the Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips

  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (Adjust for extra cinnamon flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons Melted butter or coconut oil

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit Salsa

  1. Wash and dry your fruit thoroughly.
  2. Chop all fruits into small, even pieces.
  3. Add lime or lemon juice and honey or maple syrup if needed. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  4. Optionally, stir in chopped mint for added freshness.
  5. Combine gently, then chill for 15 to 30 minutes to enhance flavors.

Make the Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut pitas into triangles and brush lightly with melted butter or coconut oil.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over pitas.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once, until crispy.

Notes

Ensure fruit is well dried before chopping to prevent excess water. Pair chips with any leftover fruit salsa or enjoy with yogurt.
