  • 1 cup low moisture shredded mozzarella (Shred your own for better melt.)
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (Store-bought is fine; less is better to avoid sogginess.)
  • 10 slices pepperoni (Regular or turkey pepperoni; omit for vegetarian.)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or mayo (For browning the bread.)

Optional Flavor Boosters

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (For added flavor, optional.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (Optional addition for more flavor.)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (For a spicy kick, optional.)
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan (Optional, to mix with mozzarella.)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Spread a thin layer of butter or mayo on one side of each slice of bread.
