Description

These Garlic Butter Pizza Cupcakes are the perfect solution for busy nights, delivering cheesy, buttery, and fun bites that kids and adults will love. They are quick to prepare and customizable with various toppings.


Ingredients

For the Pizza Cupcakes

  • 1 package Pizza dough (store-bought, crescent, or biscuit)
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza blend
  • 1 cup Pepperoni slices (mini or regular, halved)
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce (Jarred sauce is fine)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese (For finishing touch)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1 clove Fresh garlic (minced) or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons Butter (for brushing) (Flavor maker)
  • 1 cup Optional toppings (diced bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, cooked sausage, cooked bacon) (Customize as desired)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced) or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch Red pepper flakes (optional) (For a kick)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray a standard muffin tin well to prevent sticking.
  3. Cut the pizza dough into squares or circles and press them into the muffin cups.

Assembly

  1. Layer the dough with a spoonful of pizza sauce, a sprinkle of mozzarella, chosen toppings, and then additional cheese.

Baking

  1. Bake for 12 to 16 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbling.
  2. Immediately brush with garlic butter sauce upon removing from the oven.

Notes

To keep them crispy, avoid overfilling with sauce and choose low-moisture mozzarella. Allow cupcakes to rest for a few minutes before removing them from the pan.
