Description

Ingredients

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak (Cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • Vegetables for grilling (bell peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes, etc.)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) (Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, and cumin to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).

Grilling

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated steak cubes and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between the steak and vegetables.
  3. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice, green salad, pita bread, and a small bowl of lemon wedges to brighten each bite. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to two months.
