- 2-3 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend) (Freshly shredded melts smoother.)

Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with a splash of heavy cream until it’s smooth and stirrable.
- Add the cooked chicken and BBQ sauce. Stir until everything is coated. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
- Spread the mixture in your baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
Baking
- Bake for about 18 to 25 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted. If you want the top browned, broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes before scooping to allow it to thicken slightly and serve cleaner.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead of time, stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking. Also, it freezes well for 2 to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven for best results.
