Description

A creamy, salty, and snackable dip made with olives, cream cheese, and feta, perfect for game nights or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened (Use full fat for best texture)
  • 4 oz Feta cheese (Crumbled)
  • 1 cup Green olives, chopped (A mix of Castelvetrano and Manzanilla is recommended)
  • 1 tbsp Olive brine or lemon juice (To loosen and brighten the dip)
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced (Fresh, paste, or powdered)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil (For richness)
  • to taste Black pepper (Optional chili flakes can be added)


Instructions

Preparation

  1. Let the cream cheese sit out for 20 to 30 minutes to soften.
  2. Chop the olives into a mix of finely chopped and slightly chunky pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and feta until mostly smooth. A fork works fine, but a hand mixer will make it creamier.
  4. Add the chopped olives, olive brine (or lemon juice), garlic, black pepper, and olive oil.
  5. Stir again and taste. Adjust seasoning by adding more feta, brine, or olive oil as needed.
  6. Chill the dip for at least 20 minutes to let the flavors settle.
  7. For a smoother texture, pulse the mixture in a food processor instead of stirring by hand.

Notes

This dip is great for make-ahead. It can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Best served within 3 to 4 days.
