Description

These quick and easy no-bake peanut butter chocolate energy bites are perfect for a snack or dessert. Made with just a few simple ingredients, they are chewy, chocolatey, and the perfect portable treat.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup quick oats (Make sure to use quick oats for best texture.)
  • ¼ cup peanut butter (Smooth peanut butter preferred for better mixing.)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (Can substitute with maple syrup or agave.)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (Use mini chips to retain a nice appearance.)

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Combine oats and mini chocolate chips in a medium bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter and honey; stir until well combined.
  3. Scoop mixture into 12 balls and roll between your hands.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
  5. If the mixture feels too loose, chill it for a few minutes. If too stiff, add a drizzle of extra honey.

Notes

These bites can be paired with fruit, yogurt, or refrigerated for longer storage. They can also be frozen. Remember to roll gently to avoid melting.
