Description
These refreshing Strawberry Mango Popsicles are a healthy summer treat made with real fruit, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without the added sugars of store-bought options.
Ingredients
For the popsicles
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (Can substitute with frozen strawberries)
- 2 cups ripe mango (Fresh or frozen works well)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (Optional for creaminess)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (Just a squeeze to enhance flavors)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (Optional, only if needed)
- splash water, coconut water, or milk (Only if the blender needs help)
Instructions
Preparation
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Peel and chop the mango.
- Blend strawberries with a squeeze of lime. Taste it, and if it is too tart, add a little honey or maple syrup. If the blender struggles, add a small splash of water.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into a container or bowl.
- Blend mango with a squeeze of lime. Taste it; mango usually does not need extra sweetener.
Assembly
- Fill your popsicle molds with the strawberry mixture. You can create layers if desired.
- Insert sticks and freeze for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
- To release them, run the mold under warm water for about 10 to 15 seconds and gently wiggle.
Notes
For layered popsicles, freeze each layer for 20-30 minutes before adding the next for better definition. You can mix it up by using coconut milk for creaminess or adding lime zest for extra flavor.
